You need to reduce the amount of calories you intake in general, watch the amount of carbs that you eat, and raise your protein consumption. The main goal with exercising to lose body fat is to burn as many calories as possible. You can focus on cardio exercise such as running, walking, aerobics etc. Many people enjoy using machine such as the stair climber, treadmill, or elliptical.
Weight training should be considered in conjunction with aerobic activity as another way to burn calories and build and tone muscle. Weight training can actually be a better choice for getting lean, when you focus on high repetitions on your exercises.
Develop a plan and chart out the days you plan on exercising, with the exercises you plan to do. Exercising early in the morning is a good option to keep your metabolism active for the rest of the day.

Making Your Plan Work
Make sure you get the proper amount of sleep every night and drink plenty of water every day. The extra water will also help with appetite suppression and help keep you hydrated - very important when taking many diet pills as some may have a diuretic effect on the body.
If you have a good diet plan in place, you WILL succeed. Possibly the most important part of executing your diet plan is consistency - it has to be a lifestyle. If you don't eat clean every day, work out 'sometimes' and miss taking your supplements you will not see results. You have to WANT to lose the weight, visualize it and tell yourself that it is possible, because it is. It is all up to you!
